Explanation of Inspection and Repair Services
Tampering Charge ($75)
This charge is in addition to any other charges, and applies when we find evidence that a unit has been opened.
We will take many pictures to document why we think the unit has been opened, and we will give you the opportunity to refute our findings.
If you decide you want your unit back with no repair services performed, the final charge will be for a Customer Direct, Unit Evaluation plus return shipping.
If you originally asked for a Customer Direct, Standard Authorization but did extensive damage to your unit while or after opening it, we may decide that the job is actually a total rebuild, in which case the final charge will be for a Customer Direct, Total Rebuild, plus tampering, plus return shipping.
Customer Direct, Unit Evaluation ($75)
For units not covered by an Air Flo warranty. The customer will ship the controller to us, and we are only authorized to do a quick inspection. We will provide an estimate for the repairs required, and will not do any further work on the controller until we are authorized to do so.
The cost of this service is $75 (excluding shipping).
This service represents the absolute minimum amount we will charge any time you send us a unit whether we repair your unit or reject it as being too damaged to repair.
Customer Direct, Standard Authorization ($120)
For units not covered by an Air Flo warranty. The customer will ship the controller to us, and we are authorized to repair or replace the parts which most often fail:
- Conveyor and Spreader knobs
- Mode and power switch
- Ignition wire
The cost of this service is $100 (excluding shipping). If this service does not remedy the controller's malfunction, we will contact the customer for instructions prior to doing any further work on the controller.
Customer Direct, Total Rebuild ($350)
For units not covered by an Air Flo warranty. The customer will ship the controller to us, and we are authorized to rebuild the unit. We must be able to recover the following items from the unit in a functional state:
- Enclosure lid
- Enclosure base
- Circuit board
The cost of this service is $350 (excluding shipping).
If we have reason to believe any of those items are not functional, we will reject the unit and charge the customer for a Unit Evaluation service.
Customer Direct, Upgrade D2646PV ($450)
Have the much older D2646PV controller and want to upgrade to the latest generation D3555PV controller? We can help!
For units not covered by an Air Flo warranty. The customer will ship their existing controller to us, and we in turn will ship out a brand new D3555PV controller. We must be able to recover the following items from the older unit in a functional state:
- Enclosure lid
- Enclosure base
- Circuit board
The cost of this service is $450 (excluding shipping).
If we have reason to believe any of those items are not functional, we will reject the unit and charge the customer for a Unit Evaluation service.
This service is subject to stocking limitations -- we can't ship what we don't have on hand, after all.
Please note: The above prices exclude shipping because there are many different methods we provide to better serve our customers, and the costs vary widely depending on where you're located.
Air Flo Direct, Standard Authorization
For units covered by an Air Flo warranty only. The controller will be shipped direct to us from Air Flo, and we are authorized to repair or replace the parts which most often fail:
- Conveyor and Spreader knobs
- Mode and power switch
- Ignition wire
The user will not be responsible for the cost of the repair.
Air Flo Direct, Unit Evaluation
For units covered by an Air Flo warranty only. The controller will be shipped direct to us from Air Flo, and we are only authorized to do an quick inspection. We will provide an estimate for the repairs required, and will not proceed until we are authorized to do so.
The user will not be responsible for the cost of the inspection service.
